White and Mocha wedding flowers

After an extremely busy week it is time to catch up on what has been going on.
Ashleigh's wedding was on Friday and the reception was at Washingborough Hall.
The brides teardrop bouquet consisted of Akito roses, white freesia, soft ruscus and bear grass with noisette verdi roses bringing in the accent colour.
Her 3 bridesmaids had hand-ties of Akito roses and bear grass loops finished of with ivory ribbon round the stems.
The flower girl was given a gold wand to carry, that had an akito rose and gyp cluster with an ivory bow to finish.
We also arranged the buttonholes for the bridal party.

The table arrangements (4) at Washingborough Hall were traditional style posies of white and ivory Alstromeria, Carnations, Astilbe, Freesia, Roses and Delianne with a couple of mocha anastasia chrysants to add some colour.

The hired bay trees were dressed in ivory roses with a mocha ribbon and bow and white and mocha finish round the pots. As it was a sunny afternoon they were stood outside the entrance to greet the happy couple on their arrival.

Special funeral tributes

We were asked if we could re-create a husbands trilby hat for a special tribute from his wife. Unfortunately it hasn't taken a very good photograph as you can't see the shaping, but it looked very 'lifelike'. The flowers were sprayed black and the petals gave a velvety finish to it. The white spray was added as some relief to the black.
The whiskey bottle was sprayed many times with various colours to get the 'whiskey' colour and was given a label that had been enlarged from a real label.
The DAD frame was based in white double chrysanthemum's and had royal blue ribbon around the letters.
Our condolences go to the family

These are a few of the funeral tributes we arranged for a baby's funeral on Monday. The basing is a combination of pink and white double chrysanthemums, with roses, freesia, astilbe, and eustoma in the sprays. Our condolences go to the family.

Lincoln Security

Lincoln Securities arrangement from Monday. It has been awhile since I have done a really girly arrangement for the office and having lots of pink flowers in thought I would give them a change.
There are pink anastasia, pink germini, pink carnations and ruscus with pink tulle entwined through the flowers, all arranged in a matching pink pot.

White and Blue wedding flowers

A teardrop bouquet of akito roses, blue Triteleia and soft ruscus for Kayleigh's wedding from Saturday.
We also had buttonholes and a table arrangement to do but unfortunately didn't have the time to take photographs as it was an early wedding.

Plum and Ivory wedding flowers

These are the bridal flowers for Genevieve's wedding that took place on Saturday.

The brides bouquet was a hand-tie of plum calla lily and Maroussia roses with ruscus around the outer edge and finished off with ivory ribbon around the stems. In the roses we added pearls to complement the wedding dress.

The adult bridesmaid had a hand-tie of Maroussia roses, with diamantes in the centres, and ruscus with ivory ribbon to finish to complement her dress. The younger bridesmaid had a matching bouquet but with only 3 roses.

The bouquets are photographed in the vases of water that we deliver all our bridal hand-ties in to keep them as fresh as possible before the ceremony.

These are the church flowers of Charlie and Chris' wedding from last Friday at St Peter and St Paul's church in Lincoln. We also arranged the brides flowers and buttonholes but unfortunately we ran out of time to photograph them. The theme was pale yellow roses and colours of yellow and white. These church flowers had Gladioli, Yellow Anastasia, White lily, Dahlias, Germini, Delianne, Carnations, Solidago and Astilbe with various foliage.
