This weeks display at Argos.

A table centre of various pink carnations, fatsia leaves and flat midelino sticks. All presented in a glass cube filled with glass stones.

A brides/maids cornucopia of cerise pink and prado carnations, pink alstroemeria, bridal glads and ruscus foliage.

Lincoln Security

This weeks arrangement for Lincoln Security I chose a glass cylinder filled with gorgeous pink flowers. Heaven roses, cerise pink gerberas and various pink sweet williams are nestled amongst pink cordyline leaves. The cylinder is filled with black sisal to hide the 'oasis'.

A modern alternative to the traditional posy table centre.

Andrew J Musson Tailors

This weeks arrangement for Andrew J Musson Tailors.

New in this week are gorgeous English blue delphiniums. They are ideal for the vase we arrange the flowers in, having plenty of height. A stem of cordyline foliage and some black sisal are all that is needed to set them off.

Argos

Last weeks display for the jewellery counter at Argos.

A glass cube with dark blue fine pebbles in the bottom. Seasonal viburnum and scilla arranged in a loose spray with some willow twigs for added height.

Argos

This weeks arrangement on Argos jewelery counter.

An 8" clear bowl with clear glass stones in the base. A pretty handtie posy of white Alstroemeria and wax flower with a collar of fatsia leaves. The wax flower has a pretty, light scent that will be noticed but not overpowering. Ideal for a table centre.

Pride of Lincoln

The Pride of Lincoln was the setting for Lyndsey's wedding reception.

Unfortunately the tables were not quite ready when we arrived but it gives an idea of the set up.

A long and low type arrangement was the top table arrangement. Again the theme being pink gerberas. Wax flower, broom and bear grass added movement to a base of mixed foliage.

The guest tables were small clear bowls with clear sones in the base. 3 germini swirled inside along with bear grass strands and a butterfly was attached at the top.

Bishop Grosseteste College

I had a phone call from the function organiser at Lincoln Council to see if we could come up with some arrangements for an afternoon tea do. Something simple that would last as we could only deliver Friday pm for a Sunday pm do.

These are what we delivered, 6 of each.

5 cerise gerberas all supported with rose aluminium wire, to prevent drooping while stored, bear grass, black or white sisal depending on colour of the sugar pot. We also added some iced gems on wires as we thought they looked like little cakes.

They were delivered to Bishop Grosseteste College late Friday afternoon and we received a phone call the next week to say they had all survived and looked fabulous.

Valentines Dinner

A Valentines Dinner.

The Right Worshipful The Mayor of Lincoln, Civic dinner.

We were asked to provide table centres on a Valentines theme for the above function on 12 February 2010 at the Chapter House, Lincoln Cathedral.

As is getting popular the 'Top Table' was a round table and this was designed to be slightly different from the 8 guest tables.

We used clear glass cubes, with a black tie leaf to hide the foam, as the base. Small red roses, hypericum, leucadendron, red tulips and pitto foliage made up the displays with black feathers and red midelino sticks to finish.

The small displays that were placed around the venue to add colour to the bare stone consisted of similar flowers and had a covering of red satin material around the base.

We also provided white cymbidium orchid buttonholes for all the ladies.

Andrew J Musson (Tailors)

A lily vase with a bear grass fountain, white lilies, black-tie and sisal display with white roses attached with decorative wire to the outside of the vase. This was delivered last week to Andrew Musson Tailors for their display.

Lily table centre

A new take on the lily vase table centre.

A mass of bear grass gives height and volume to an otherwise slim display. White lilies, when open, will give dramatic focus and cordyline and sisal adds structure to the focal area.

To add to the plainness of the clear vase 2 pink roses have been suspended in their own water to the outside of the vase.

All finished off with a large mirror to reflect light back through the display.

This is currently on display in our shop window and hopefully when the lilies open I'll post a new picture to show them off to their best.

Lincoln Security

A bowl arrangement has been delivered to Lincoln Security today. This has apple green sisal in the base, Shamrock Chrysants, cream carnations and cream feathers. All chosen as they are hardy, long lasting flowers that will resist having the heating turned up!

Christmas Topiary Tree

New for Christmas. A modern twist to the topiary tree. If you are fed up with sending out hand-ties, why not send something different this year. A Christmas topary tree can be used as a lovely table centre piece aswell as a gorgeous addition to the family/living room Christmas decorations.

They are made out of seasonal foliage with red or gold carnations or germinis with Xmas bows and sisal at the base. The display vase may differ from picture. Or if you would like other flowers/foliage let your imagination (or ours) run and tell us what you want.
