Peacock coloured reception at Charlotte House Hotel

Sarah and Dan's colour scheme was carried on through the reception arrangements.

They provided the zinc buckets which they had painted in blues and lilacs. We were then asked to fill them in a posy style with matching flowers from the bouquets and more peacock feathers.
 Included are:
Blue Delphiniums, purple eustoma and stocks, lilac freesia and rose and pink astilbe.
The reception was held at Charlotte House Hotel.
The tables were dressed with a mixture of lilac and blue napkins and tea light holders.

As the wedding ceremony was also held here the chairs would be moved back after it had finished.

The top table was treated to the same designs.

The ceremony room, not quite ready, had two bay trees either side the registrars table.
With two trees either side the door too. These had ivory roses with lilac ribbon and tulle bases.

Ideas for Table/Floor displays

A couple of new ideas for Table/Floor displays.
Our very large martini vase filled with blue coloured gravel. In amongst this are 3 yellow gerberas to add a splash of colour with a co-ordinating candle on top. Colours can be altered to your colour scheme depending on availability.
A large wood effect container which can stand up to 5 foot high dependant on flowers used. Have this as a budget alternative to a full pedestal or as an added extra for a church porch way or entrance lobby.
Colours and flowers can be altered to fit in with your flower scheme. We already have an order for a church porch way in a few weeks.... watch this blog for pictures.
In this arrangement are white oriental lilies, gerberas and stocks with aspidistra leaves.

Kelham Hall

This is Kelham Hall all set up for the reception. The top table display will be added after the ceremony. The posies consisted of ivory germinis, pink larkspur, pink hydrangeas and small amounts of mixed foliage. The top table had sweet avalanche and maroussia roses aswell.

This is the Music room where the civil ceremony took place. The pedestals had ivory stocks, delphiniums, gerberas, sweet avalanche roses and pink hydrangeas.

These are the top table/registrars table and guest table posies. The look we wanted to achieve was of a vintage English garden without taking away from the gorgeous setting of the venue.

The bottom image is Laura's bridal hand-tie consisting of sweet avalanche roses, noisette verdi roses and white eustoma. The other hand-tie is her bridesmaids of sweet avalanche and maroussia roses. Both had completely ribboned stems with a bow to finish.
