Washingborough Hall

A customer we have known for many years was married back in April. It was to be a small, intimate gathering at Washingborough Hall Hotel.
The colours for the day were blue and cream with lilies being a favourite flower. The style chosen for the bridal bouquet was a simple shower bouquet with Royal Fantasy aziatic lilies and blue hyacinth pips.
The buttonholes were ivory roses with hyacinth pips and the corsage incorporated lily buds and rolled rose petals.
The tables each had a posy of lilies, roses, hyacinths and chrysants.

Top table.
Washingborough Hall ready for the arrival of the bride and groom.

E-mailed to us a few days after the event by the bride:

Just to say a big thankyou for the wonderful flowers they were the best ever I would not use anyone else thankyou again Betty.

Modern Arrangements

Two of the arrangements we have delivered this week.

The top design was for a 100th birthday tea party. It was requested to have scented flowers, as the lady has little sight, and to be mainly pink flowers. Included are pink oriental lily, hyacinth and freesia all very scented, along with roses, carnations and alstroemeria and foliage. It is presented in a glass cube with black tie leaves hiding the 'oasis'. Diamantes were added to the roses and pink midelino sticks give a modern twist.

The lady who ordered it rang this morning to say how delighted they were with it and all who attended the party had a wonderful time.

The bottom arrangement was for the birth of a baby boy.
A modern design of blue, whites and creams. The blue flowers are iris, Scillia (Bluebells) and anemones, cream gerberas and white alstroemeria, gyp and roses. Light blue feathers are nestled in amongst the flowers along with a small blue butterfly.
It is presented in a cream zinc bowl.

Lincoln Security

A gorgeous spring arrangement for Lincoln Securities reception.

A colour mix of Hyacinths, cerise pink carnations with baby blue eucalyptus and ruscus foliage create this colourful and scented arrangement. Midelino sticks and a mirrored cube add a modern twist to an old fashioned flower selection.
Carnations are making a comeback with some fabulous new colours coming available.

Argos

We are really excited about our new venture. We are displaying an arrangement weekly at the jewellery counter in Lincoln Argos. We hope to have a varied assortment of flowers on display over the coming weeks and months. Most will be wedding orientated with ideas for table centres as well as bridal bouquets. All will hopefully be of seasonal content.
The photo above is our offering this week. A lovely silver pot filled with blue hyacinth, yellow alstroemeria and pussy willow. Finished off with a string of teardrop jewels. This is more of a Mothering Sunday display but would also look fabulous on a buffet table.
