Oriental lily and rose wedding

Katie and Jamie's wedding from May.

The bride wanted to incorporate oriental lilies into her bouquet, but wanted to keep it quite neat. The bouquet I designed had the lilies as the focal flower with white roses used to add length and shape to the design. Baby blue eucalyptus also added shape and interest. The scent of this bouquet was gorgeous.
Katie's four bridesmaids all carried a simple design of 3 lily heads wired together with baby blue eucalyptus. The stems were covered with ivory satin ribbon.
The grooms men all wore buttonholes of a single white rose with baby blue eucalyptus.
The two mums wore corsages of white roses and freesia.

A fantastically scented bouquet of oriental lilies and ivory roses with bear grass. Designed in the modern hand-tied style.
There was two bridesmaids who carried a single stem of oriental lily with bear grass trails.
The flower girl carried a silver heart shaped wand with a single white carnation, foliage and white ribbon trails and bow.
Buttonholes were also provided for the wedding party of white carnations and Mother of the bride had a pink eustoma corsage.

Thank you bouquets were also provided for the reception at the local pub.

On the Saturday morning it was lovely to see the bride and groom who were just leaving for their honeymoon and just popped in to thank us for the wonderful flowers.

A Classic White Wedding

A classic white wedding theme was chosen by Louise for her wedding on Saturday.
After much thought a traditional tear-drop design was chosen for the bridal bouquet with white avalanche roses, white crystal blush calla lily and ivory Asiatic lily. Soft ruscus and tree fern provided a dark green background for the flowers.The butterflies were provided by the bride to be included in her bouquet as they were being used throughout the wedding.
The Maid of Honour had a hand-tie posy of 3 avalanche roses and 3 heads of ivory oriental lily with a few sprigs of tree fern. All bound together with ivory satin ribbon finished off with a small bow.
The two other bridesmaids carried a simple posy of 3 avalanche roses with sprigs of tree fern. Finished off as above.
The two Mothers had a very simple yet elegant spray of freesia with silver ting ting and a silver bow to complement their outfits.
The groom wore a single white crystal blush calla lily with ruscus and tree fern to match the bridal bouquet.
The rest of the men from the bridal party wore a single avalanche rose buttonhole with tree fern.

Sam and Jonny's wedding at Branston Hall on 21 August 2009.

The brides bouquet was a simple hand-tie of maroussia roses, alchemilla mollis, sweet william 'green trick' and salal leaves. This was finished off with ivory ribbon around the stems and pinned. The bridesmaids was a smaller version.

For the registrars table we arranged ivory lilies, gerberas, maroussia roses, and spray carnations along with alchemilla mollis, salal, and bupleurum to keep the colour theme of ivory and lime green going.

The tables arrangements at Branston Hall were, per table, a single stem of ivory lily and bear grass in a vase supplied by Sam finished off with apple green sisal to support the stem.

The pictures taken of the reception tables are before Branston Hall had finished setting up and are taken in the bar area as the main part of the Churchill suite was set up for the ceremony.
