Christmas wedding

And finally our last wedding of 2011 was Michelle's, who organised it all in about 6 weeks. Keeping it all local by getting married in the village church and the reception in the village pub just after Christmas, meant it was a very relaxed day. The colour scheme was in keeping with the time of year, red and white with foliage and berries. The brides bouquet was red and white roses, hypericum berries and tree fern and salal foliage. The stems were wrapped in a large leaf with thin ivory ribbon criss crossing around it.The bridesmaid carried a similar design with just white roses.
We also provided buttonholes for the wedding party and a top table design for the reception.

The ladies each wore a single white rose surrounded by gyp.

Pride of Lincoln

Elise's wedding was held entirely at The Pride of Lincoln. This is the set up for the civil ceremony and then changed around for the reception.
We were asked to provide two pedestals for behind the registrars table which would be moved and used either side of the top table.
The colour scheme was red and white and I used red lily, carnations and white carnations, alstroemeria and stallion chrysants.

We also provide a couple of vases of flowers for the cake table.

Red rose and white freesia wedding

Elise's wedding from 25th September.
Thank you to all who recommended us to Elise, I know there was quite a few of you.

Red and white was the chosen colour scheme and Elise loved one of our most popular designs. The teardrop bouquet in red passion roses and white freesia with ruscus foliage.
The bridesmaid carried a posy of white roses and freesia as she was wearing a red dress.
The mums wore a double buttonhole of a red rose with a white carnation, we don't usually use this combination but they do work well.
The grooms buttonhole of a single carnation and freesia cluster.
Other members of the bridal party wore single white carnation buttonholes.

Jocastas

The civil wedding and reception of Kelly at Jocastas.
The registrars table centre piece was a long and low arrangement which after the service would be transferred to the top table. In matching colours to the brides bouquet it had white lillies, gerberas, eustoma and akito and freedom roses.
The civil ceremony room at Jocastas.
The top table dressed ready for the bride and groom.
The wonderful backdrop from the marquee.
Each guest table had a single white lily with bear grass displayed in a clear lily vase. We also provided the red and white rose petals.
The lovely spacious marquee with bar area. The chairs would be moved from the ceremony room to the reception area while photos are taken outside.

Wedding flowers from 17th July.
A small wedding consisting of a brides teardrop bouquet and 9 rose buttonholes.
Red and white was the colour scheme, so we chose red passion roses for the buttonholes with ruscus leaves.
The bride carried a teardrop bouquet in red passion roses and white freesias with ruscus foliage as a filler.

Red and White Wedding flowers

Denise's red and white wedding from 10th April.
All males in the wedding party were provided a red rose buttonhole to compliment the colour scheme.
The ladies corsages also matched the bridal bouquet. Each had a single red rose with a couple of white freesia and foliage.
The flower girls carried a small hand-tie posy of red roses and white freesia finished off with an ivory satin ribbon around the stems.

Here is the brides teardrop bouquet. Red passion roses with white freesia and soft ruscus for foliage. This is a very popular design being fairly compact but traditional in shape. The flower combination also works extremely well with the freesias being scented and many Mother of the Brides having had them when they walked down the aisle.

The complimentary bridesmaids posy. Again keeping the theme going this is a popular design to go with the teardrop bouquet.

We also sent out some thank you hand-ties for the mums.

St Lawrence Skellingthorpe

Here are a few pictures of weddings from venues we have arranged flowers at that have not been posted before. I have done them as separate posts so easier to find on the venue list.

We are able to arrange flowers in all venues and most churches in and around Lincoln and further afield. If your chosen place isn't on our list it doesn't mean we haven't been there it may just be there wasn't time to take photos or the venue wasn't properly set up, especially if it is an all in one where the tables are moved about. We keep a list of all places we have been to, please ask, and look forward to discussing your plans to ones we don't know. We are more than happy on these occasions to meet with you at the venue.

This is St Lawrence at Skellingthorpe, a wonderful modern interior that showed the white and red colour scheme of the pedestals off well.
