Ideas for Table/Floor displays

A couple of new ideas for Table/Floor displays.
Our very large martini vase filled with blue coloured gravel. In amongst this are 3 yellow gerberas to add a splash of colour with a co-ordinating candle on top. Colours can be altered to your colour scheme depending on availability.
A large wood effect container which can stand up to 5 foot high dependant on flowers used. Have this as a budget alternative to a full pedestal or as an added extra for a church porch way or entrance lobby.
Colours and flowers can be altered to fit in with your flower scheme. We already have an order for a church porch way in a few weeks.... watch this blog for pictures.
In this arrangement are white oriental lilies, gerberas and stocks with aspidistra leaves.

Argos

Our display for Argos this week.
A gorgeous blue agapanthus with unusual dark pink/purple carnations and dark red gerberas intertwined with cordyline foliage. Red midelino sticks add volume to the design which is all displayed in a mirrored cube.
All these flowers were showcased at the wonderful Columbian evening we went to.

Norton Lodge

Norton Lodge was the setting for Louise's wedding reception.
Keeping on the classic theme of white it was decided to have simple clear lily vases as table centres with a stem of oriental lily and bear grass strands.
The top table was a long and low design with lilies, geberas, roses, anthuriums, eustoma and kermit chrysants all keeping to the white colour scheme.
The lilies were kept central in the vases by white sisal.
The scent as you walked into the room was divine.
We spoke to Louise's mum on Monday morning and all went well and everybody loved the flowers. Thank you.

Birthday arrangement

We received an e-mail from a lady in Vancouver a few days ago requesting an arrangement for a family members birthday who is local to us. This is what we sent out.

It is in a cream zinc bowl and it has anthuriums, gerberas, shamrock chrysants, freesia, roses, eustoma, lily, palm leaves and baby blue eucalyptus.

Once delivered we sent a photo and e-mail to our customer confirming delivery to show what we sent. We received this reply:

Thank you so much for the follow up and the photo. The arrangement looks beautiful!

I'm sure it made her day extra special!!

Take care,

Sally

Diamond Wedding Anniversary

An arrangement for a Diamond Wedding Anniversary.
A lovely customer of ours requested an arrangement for a friends Diamond wedding. We went through what we could send and it was decided something a little modern would be nice. As colours for diamond are not as fixed as for some anniversaries we chose white and lime green. Included are roses, shamrock chrysants, gerbera, prado carnations, gyp and button chrysants. All arranged in one of the glass cubes that we are finding are very popular.
After delivery we were told the recipient loved it.

Lincoln Civic Party

We were contacted by the Lincoln Civic Party with regards to donating a raffle prize for the 'Elizabethan Evening' being held at the Cathedral. As we regularly make arrangements for them for various occasions, we were delighted to donate this design.
We received the letter a few days later and thank them for letting us know how much was raised.

A modern arrangement in a large glass cube. 3 large pink varigated gerberas are centered amongst a background of twisted willow, while white eustoma adds a delicate touch to the structure. Pink carnations through the bottom of the design, with green midelino sticks and pink pins add a splash of colour through the design.
