St Helen's Church at Saxby
Joanne and Graham were married at St Helen's at Saxby. A lovely, unusual church built as a parish church and mausoleum.
The two alcoves, one either side of the main door, were decorated with a fishbowl.
The windowsills were also decorated with a fishbowl each. These contained a delphinium, eustoma, sweetpeas, eryngium, freesia, roses, eucalyptus and bear grass. They were designed as a tall tied arrangement. These were also doubling up as table centres for the reception at The White Hart hotel, so although height was required I couldn't fill them out too much otherwise guests would be unable to see each other.
As the couple had 8 tables and only 6 were needed in church, (4 windows, 2 alcoves) we used the other two bowls either side the Altar area.
