Brochure and price lists

I have now added our wedding brochure and price lists for flowers and glassware for you to download without having to contact me. If you would like to call and discuss your requirements it is advisable but not necessary to make a FREE, no obligation appointment. Please be thoughtful of other brides, especially on Fridays/Saturdays, when I am making up their bouquets/arrangements if NO appointment made you may not be seen. Best to make an appointment on these days. You wouldn't want me discussing a future wedding when in the middle of designing your flowers!
You will be asked for your wedding date before any appointment is made to check whether I am available, if e-mailing please put this in first of any contact to save disappointment.
Venue and Religious buildings decorated are most of the buildings we have been to decorate with flowers over the years.
A funeral tribute price list has also been added. We will be pleased to discuss your requirements as you need to. If entire family is coming together an appointment would be beneficial for all, but again not essential.

St Lawrence Skellingthorpe

Here are a few pictures of weddings from venues we have arranged flowers at that have not been posted before. I have done them as separate posts so easier to find on the venue list.

We are able to arrange flowers in all venues and most churches in and around Lincoln and further afield. If your chosen place isn't on our list it doesn't mean we haven't been there it may just be there wasn't time to take photos or the venue wasn't properly set up, especially if it is an all in one where the tables are moved about. We keep a list of all places we have been to, please ask, and look forward to discussing your plans to ones we don't know. We are more than happy on these occasions to meet with you at the venue.

This is St Lawrence at Skellingthorpe, a wonderful modern interior that showed the white and red colour scheme of the pedestals off well.

Ruston Sports and Social Club

Pink was the colour for this reception at Ruston Sports and Social Club. A very traditional posy arrangement in an assortment of pink flowers. A long and low arrangement in matching flowers was placed on the top table.

Norton Lodge

Roses were the focal flower of Claire's wedding at Norton Lodge. To match in with her bridal bouquet and to keep things stunning but simple we arranged 3 large white roses in a lily vase. For the top table again a display of roses and foliage.

Gorse Lodge

A wonderfully large marquee at Gorse Lodge near Newark, which we organised flowers for Ruth and Nicks wedding.

We arranged stargazer lilies in tall vases for the tables, a top table centre piece and 2 smaller arrangements for the ends.

Belton Woods Hotel

This is Belton Woods Hotel which we organised flowers for Gemmas wedding back in 2008.

Not only did we do the table centres, (lily vases, oriental lilies and bear grasss) we did a lovely big top centrepiece as this was a huge oval table with plenty of room to fill. (See above)

We also hired out bay trees to place on the stair case and other displays around the rooms.

Glass cube arrangement

A glass cube arrangement with alstromeria, eustoma, gerberas and midelino sticks.

Sent out for a local delivery.

Lily table centre

A new take on the lily vase table centre.

A mass of bear grass gives height and volume to an otherwise slim display. White lilies, when open, will give dramatic focus and cordyline and sisal adds structure to the focal area.

To add to the plainness of the clear vase 2 pink roses have been suspended in their own water to the outside of the vase.

All finished off with a large mirror to reflect light back through the display.

This is currently on display in our shop window and hopefully when the lilies open I'll post a new picture to show them off to their best.

Top Table display

A top table arrangement to go up to Gretna Green with a happy couple for a wedding tomorrow.

The brides colour scheme is chocolate and white. With flower scheme of roses and lilies. With this in mind we used gorgeous Maroussia roses, white oriental lily, white eustoma and germini with a variety of foliage both in green and chocolate.

Buttonholes were also made for the bridal party.

Martini vases

A 70cm Martini glass vase for the window display. Hire the vase for £12 for up to 4 days. Flowers are extra but a simple yet stunning display can be achieved relatively cheaply.
Filled with turquoise feathers with 3 gerberas and birch twigs gives it both colour and added height.
Prices on application.

Lincoln Security

A bowl arrangement has been delivered to Lincoln Security today. This has apple green sisal in the base, Shamrock Chrysants, cream carnations and cream feathers. All chosen as they are hardy, long lasting flowers that will resist having the heating turned up!
A simple yet effective table centre

Double heart tribute

A double heart funeral tribute that was arranged by us for a lovely local man, Ralph, through a family member.

Our condolences to the family

New Year

Well we are back in full swing after the Christmas and New year break. The decorations are down and the shop looks a little bare, but we are full of enthusiasm for the coming year. What with Valentines just around the corner, 14Th Feb(yes its on a Sunday, yes we will be open) for those that can't remember, and the wedding season kicking of early, and Mothering Sunday 14Th March, again yes we will be open, we look to be heading for a cracking start to 2010.
Why not call in to see what we can offer you.
