The Bentley Hotel

A pink inspired wedding for a small gathering.
As the tables were the long type with guests sitting either side, the flowers had to be compact. Small fish bowls were chosen with a single pink hydrangea placed on top of glass 'ice' with bear grass strands.
The room at The Bentley Hotel all ready for the arrival of the Bride and Groom.

We also made a corsage for the bride and 2 guests and 2 male buttonholes. Unfortunately we didn't manage to take photos of them.

Pink Calla Lily Brides Bouquet

The wedding flowers of Kelly from October 9th.
Kelly chose a pretty pink calla lily on mass for her bridal bouquet. With a few bear grass loops threaded with beads to catch the light and bound together with matching pink satin ribbon.
Kelly's bridesmaid carried an overarm bouquet with matching pink calla lilies, bear grass and beads.
One of two wine glass displays for either end of the top table. Pink oriental lilies, white roses and freesia.
We also created a long and low display for the middle of the top table and 5 black lily vases with a stem of pink lily in each with bear grass. Unfortunately we were hoping to take photos at The Pride of Lincoln but they hadn't set the tables when we arrived.
The grooms calla lily buttonhole. Created to match the brides bouquet, it incorporated bear grass loops and beads, with ruscus leaves.
The ladies of the bridal party wore single white rose buttonholes with a small sprig of gyp.
The men wore a single white rose buttonhole each.

Argos

The last three displays from Argos.
A summer wedding bouquet of sunflowers, agapanthus and echinops with eucalyptus foliage, all resting on a collar of yellow sisal. Bear grass trails add some length to the design. Sisal has been bound around the stems for comfort when being held.
It is in a vase of blue gravel for display purposes only.
Another brides posy this time in pink cymbidium orchids and peonies. Pale pink feathers are added to create a really girly feel and with fatsia leaves used as a collar.
A modern brides/maid posy. Silver wire with pearls threaded through create a modern outline and in the centre are pink and white fancy carnations. A pale pink butterfly with more silver wire and beads finishes this simple yet very effective bouquet.
It is in a vase with glass stones for display purposes only.

Pink Gerbera wedding

A wedding theme centred on pink gerberas was the vision Lyndsey wanted to create. As gerberas are such fabulous flowers this was an idea easy to work with.
The brides bouquet, top photo, was a hand-tie posy of pink gerberas with a collar of aspidistra leaves. On these we attached some gold butterflies, another theme of the wedding. Bear grass trails added interest and length to the design and it was finished off with pink satin ribbon.
The Maid of honor carried an overarm bouquet of pink gerberas, bottom photo, backed with an aspidistra leaf. Butterflies were added to the flowers and satin ribbon was pinned to the stems to make the handle.
3 adult bridesmaids carried smaller versions of this, 3rd photo.

The flower girls carried a wand of 3 pink germinis with bear grass loops, 2nd photo, finished off with pink satin ribbon.

This wedding took place at the end of March. Church and venue photos to follow.
