Argos

The last three displays from Argos.
A summer wedding bouquet of sunflowers, agapanthus and echinops with eucalyptus foliage, all resting on a collar of yellow sisal. Bear grass trails add some length to the design. Sisal has been bound around the stems for comfort when being held.
It is in a vase of blue gravel for display purposes only.
Another brides posy this time in pink cymbidium orchids and peonies. Pale pink feathers are added to create a really girly feel and with fatsia leaves used as a collar.
A modern brides/maid posy. Silver wire with pearls threaded through create a modern outline and in the centre are pink and white fancy carnations. A pale pink butterfly with more silver wire and beads finishes this simple yet very effective bouquet.
It is in a vase with glass stones for display purposes only.

Joan Stam Designer

We enjoyed a fabulous night last night at a floristry demonstration. The designer was Joan Stam and the designs he showed us were gorgeous. It was based on summer weddings but there was plenty of designs that could be used for any occasions along with bridal work and table centres.

The basis was for showcasing the wonderful David Austin roses, which we can now order (dependant on availability).
This is one of those rare occasions where the photos are not pictures of my own work but if you love what you see please call in and see how we can recreate these pieces and make them unique for you.

This was Julie's hand-tie bouquet of cymbidium orchids and maroussia roses with soft ruscus foliage.

For the reception at Branston Hall we were asked if we could do something different for the top table using lilies and we agreed on this. The full length of the table was laid out with stems of cream lillies and apparently by the time of the meal the room was full of scent.

This photo was provided by the bride and groom. Thank you
