Red rose and white lily hand-tie

A gorgeous hand-tie simply of red roses and white oriental lilies with gyp and foliage. A collar of Black tie and bear grass surround the flowers with a loose wrapping of rose tinted cellophane, finished off with a deep red satin bow. The flowers are placed in a bubble of water and displayed in a ceramic pot.

Small modern arrangement

A small but modern arrangement we delivered for a get well present.

Alstromeria gives some height to the display while gerberas, carnations and hypericum fill out the base. All arranged in a complimentary pink pot. Cordyline foliage and pink pins add a modern twist.

County Assembly Rooms

For a ladies evening at the Lincoln County Assembly Rooms we were asked to provide table centres that were round and could stand the lamps they use in the centre. We were given the colour scheme of white and green but the flowers we used was left up to us.
We used foam rings so the lamps could stand easily in the centre. For the foliage we used pistachio, leather leaf and cuppress and flowers of akito roses, astilbe, freesias, gypsophila and hydrangeas.
After a last minute adjustment to table numbers we provided 15 arrangements.

Lincoln Civic Party

We were contacted by the Lincoln Civic Party with regards to donating a raffle prize for the 'Elizabethan Evening' being held at the Cathedral. As we regularly make arrangements for them for various occasions, we were delighted to donate this design.
We received the letter a few days later and thank them for letting us know how much was raised.

Funeral Tributes

We arranged these funeral tributes for the family and friends of Gareth last week.
He was a keen Liverpool supporter and red and white were the basis for many of the tributes.

The top pictures are a bowling skittle with the team name added, a poker chip, an ace of hearts playing card.
Three letter tributes with personalised ribbons.

A 3ft coffin spray.

Crosses, hearts, cushions, posy pads, and wreaths.

Our condolences go to all the family.

Skellingthorpe Methodist Chapel

For the wedding of Becky, see below, we were asked to provide flowers for the service being held in Skellingthorpe Methodist Chapel. Becky wanted a pedestal either side of the altar table and then an arrangement to sit on the table, plus arrangements in the windows. They all wanted to be fairly simple with the colour theme important.

The window displays consist of akito roses, eryngium, cyclamen, eucalyptus and delianne displayed in a container that has been covered in navy blue material tied with ivory ribbon. This stood out well on the all white widow ledges of the chapel.

The pedestals had a variety of foliage, white carnations, ivory germini, delianne, white chrysants, eryngium and aconitum. These had more white in so as to balance the dark blue out.

The table display had the same flowers and also included some akito roses to tie in with the bridal flowers.

The window displays also doubled up for table centres for the reception at the White Hart Hotel and the Altar table doubled up for the top table. We provided boxes to the wedding party and some-one was put on flower duty to be in charge of transporting them to the reception.

Cream and (Navy) Blue wedding Flowers

These are the wedding flowers from Becky's wedding last Saturday. The theme was cream and (navy) blue.

The bride wanted a small compact bouquet in keeping with the colour scheme and for her bridesmaids to be of a similar style. She liked the small roses and the blue of the eryngium (Thistle) and eucalyptus.

From this we decided on a compact hand-tie design to include the small akito rose, blue eryngium, white cyclamen and foliage of eucalyptus and pistachio bound together with ivory satin ribbon pinned with dark blue pins for the brides bouquet.

For the adult bridesmaids a similar but smaller bouquet was made but without the cyclamen and for the flower girl a smaller one still.

Buttonholes were also required- single akito roses with eucalyptus leaves for ladies and gentlemen of the bridal party and for the groom a couple of eryngium heads were added so he matched in with the bride.

For a November wedding they had a lovely sunny day and apparently everything went perfectly.
